Do you want to start a pregnancy well prepared? Or have you been trying to become pregnant for a while, but is the step to the doctor or gynecologist still a bit early? We are happy to think along with you.

The Children's Wish Circle

We use the children's wish circle during our children's wish consultation hours© as the starting point of the conversation. We have specially developed this circle to look at topics that can play a role in a desire to have children in a calm and clear manner. You can then think of:

• the menstrual cycle and timing
• lifestyle and health
• previous miscarriages, pregnancies or complicated deliveries
• medical history
• questions or concerns about becoming pregnant

Of course there is room for your questions and experiences.

Sometimes it can be pleasant to do additional research into the uterus and ovaries. An appointment can be scheduled for a vaginal ultrasound by consultation. Unfortunately, this ultrasound is not reimbursed by health insurance.

When can an appointment be helpful?

An appointment may make sense when

• you guys want to start trying to get pregnant soon
• you've been trying to get pregnant for some time now
• there has been a previous miscarriage or difficult pregnancy/birth
• there are questions about the menstrual cycle or ovulation
• there are medical factors that can influence pregnancy
• there is a need for conversation or advice

How long does a children's wish consultation take?
A consultation takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Should my partner come along?
Your partner is always welcome. After all, the two of you get pregnant and it can be nice to hear the information and advice together.

Is a children's wish consultation hour reimbursed?
A children's wish consultation hour is reimbursed once a year by health insurance.

Will the ultrasound also be reimbursed?
When a vaginal ultrasound is performed, there are costs involved. Unfortunately, these are not reimbursed by health insurance.
